Since the 1990s,China has extended a wide range of school art courses,and began to focus on the development and utilization of curriculum resources.In 1992,as published by the Ministry of Education in our country,the nine-year compulsory education full-time elementary school fine arts teaching outline and the nine-year compulsory education full-time junior middle school fine arts teaching outline already contain the provisions related to the course resources development.For example:"tostick to the principle of integrating theory with practice,and the choice of teaching content should pay attention to students' daily life,increase the local teaching materials by 10%to 20%,which can reflect the reality of local social and economic development";"The choice of art teaching content should be less and better and pay more attention to the interdisciplinary association";"Extracurricular art activities are an integral part of education." Published in July 2001,the full-time compulsory education art course standard(experiment draft),the new curriculum standard of which we are currently using now,pays much emphasis on the development and use of the fine arts curriculum resources by adding them to the "proposals".In April 2003,the "ordinary high school fine arts curriculum standard(practice)was published,and the fourth part of it wrote more proposals about the use and development of the fine arts curriculum resources.In 2004,when revising the "the fine arts curriculum standard",the research team toward which also revised the provisions of the "fine arts curriculum resources development and utilization" by increasing the explanations of ethnic and folk art and cultural relics.It pointed out that "our national,folk art and the relics of human culture are also important extracurricular resources.We should make full use of the local folk art resources and cultural relics to carry out various kinds of art educational activities.Folk art arises from our daily life,and the materials are also very common.Moreover,the process is simple,too.In the course of teaching,we can build students'ability of independent innovation.,As the French physiologist Bernard,a Nobel Prize winner,once said,"creativity cannot be gained by teaching,and the so-called creative teaching refers that the students are truly encouraged to unfold and discover their ideas.Only in such way can we find their creative talents." Therefore,we should add the folk art teaching materials to the middle school art courses.And on the process of enhancing the knowledge of art materials and process methods,students can gain more knowledge,broaden their horizon,and accumulate art materials.So in the course of such lively and relaxing practice,students' creative ability and rich imagination are sure to be improved.On this basis,students' comprehensive quality can be greatly enhanced in the process of practice and experience.
