With the development of the society, the various countries’ cultural exchanges and integration, the spirit world and the pursuit of material comforts is in constant increase. Native thing is considered to be backward and old things, ignored and rejected, as the non-material cultural heritage protection and application of the work, including folk art, folk culture has caught people’s attention again. School as a way of the study of folk art, is particularly important.In Gaoan second middle school as an example, this paper study of folk art in the middle school art study, the paper through the questionnaire survey and interviews to teachers, students master the folk art of learning in the basic situation of the middle school classroom. On this basis, according to the characteristics and teaching status quo of all kinds of folk art, respectively, from schools and students, select appropriate to the teaching contents and teaching mode. According to the selected teaching content, to develop a detailed teaching design, and implement the selected school, and to analyze each case combining with teaching situation, summed up the deficiencies and successes, further improvement strategies are put forward.
