China is a country with many ethnic groups and deep cultural heritage.Thanks to 5,000 years of history.Folk songs are the earliest form of music and the basis of other art forms.General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed at the National Education Conference that to cultivate socialist builders and successors and promote the overall development of morality,intelligence,physical fitness,and beauty,moral education and aesthetic education in schools must be strengthened.In the revised version of the new curriculum standards implemented by the Ministry of Education,ethnic music is listed as an important content,hoping to strengthen ethnic music education,increase students'awareness of the protection and promotion of traditional music,and cultivate students'love of folk songs.Bringing folk songs into the classroom is of great significance for strengthening the school's moral education and aesthetic education.It is a key step in the development of folk songs and the responsibility of music teachers in the new era.This paper analyzes the current situation of folk song teaching in Suzhou area through teaching field investigation,puts forward solutions and carries out teaching practice.This topic is expected to explore a better way of integrating traditional folk songs in the music classroom of middle schools in Suzhou,and from the perspective of music,to explore ways to make students accept and love folk songs.In this study,questionnaire survey,interview and literature were used.Through three chapters to discuss "the traditional folk song into the junior middle school music classroom teaching".The first chapter focuses on the importance of folk song teaching,expounding the artistic value,research background and significance of folk song teachingChapter 2 selects the representative middle schools in Suzhou for questionnaire surveys and interviews,analyzes the music textbooks,and summarizes the representative problems and current situation of folk songs in middle school music education according to the survey results.The third chapter makes an in-depth analysis of the problems raised,and puts forward specific solutions for the introduction of traditional folk songs into the music classroom of middle schools in Suzhou.Then it combines the solutions with the music classroom practice to reflect and analyze the teaching practice.It is hoped that through research and teaching practice,it will help and educate music educators to a certain extent,to achieve the purpose of protecting and inheriting folk songs and promoting traditional music culture.
