To meet the requirements of the reform and development of basic education,teachers in high school ideological and political education should pay full attention to students’ emotions,behaviors,and attitudes.At the same time,they should pay attention to open and interactive teaching methods and learning patterns of cooperative inquiry in teaching and learning methods.Let students actively and proactively improve their interest in learning and development in a democratic education environment.The use of role-playing activities in the teaching of high school politics is not only consistent with the basic characteristics of the ideological and political curriculum and teaching reform,but also conducive to students’ independent thinking,cooperative inquiry,and all-round development.It is worth the attention of the majority of ideological and political teachers.In addition to the introduction,this article is divided into three parts.The first part introduces the role-playing activities in detail and points out the theoretical basis for the use of this activity in high school ideological and political teaching.After defining the basic concepts of the role-playing activities,the characteristics,theoretical sources,and practical values of the role-playing activities were briefly analyzed.The second part analyzes the role of role play as a teaching activity in high school ideological and political classes and analyzes its causes.In the teaching of ideological and political classes,the enthusiasm for the existence and participation of the role performing activities is not high,the role of the students in playing the role is not in place,the arrangement of the roles and the irrational selection,the relationship between the form and the content are not handled properly.The main reasons for these problems are insufficient understanding of the teaching value of role-playing activities,lack of detailed understanding of some teachers,lack of teaching experience and ability of some teachers,heavy teaching burden on teachers,limited time and energy,and reality.The constraints of the teaching evaluation mechanism.The third part focuses on the countermeasures of the role-playing activities used in the teaching of high school ideological and political classes.Optimizing the role-playing activities in high school ideological and political teaching,the need to change the concept of accurate understanding of the value of the activity;close to the students,enhance the participation of the fun of the activity;aiming at goals,improve the effectiveness of the implementation of the activities;strengthen learning,enhance the ability of organizational activities;Reform evaluations form an external force for activities.
