| The hurdles is a sport that combines speed and motor skills and its teaching methods are endless.Entering the 21 st century,the world record for the hurdling was break by Xiang Liu,Robles and Merritt,speed is faster and faster,hurdling technique and the speed of the breakthrough is a great challenge to human limit Hurdle technology has evolved from jumping the fences to running the fences.The hurdle performance including flat running(accounting for 2/3 of the hurdles)and hurdle running(accounting for 2/3 of the hurdles)is determined by speed and hurdle technology.Therefore,the faster the flat runs,the better the hurdles.In this study,we applied the competition method to high school students from the second senior middle school of Shangqiu city,attempting to prove the positive influence of the competition teaching method on the students’ hurdle race performance and provides practical methods for coaches and teachers to improve the performance of the hurdles..Students were divided into experimental group(26 boys in class 1)and control group(26 boys in class 8).And the method was used for 8 times through literature,experiment,questionnaire and mathematical statistics.The specific conclusions are as follows.(1)After the experiment,Compared with the control group,the physical quality of students in the experimental group and the experimental group changed significantly over 50 meters,indicating that the competition teaching method had a greater impact on the speed quality.(2)Before the experiment,the confidence scores of the students in the experimental group and the control group had little difference,but the self-confidence scores of the experimental group and the control group showed significant difference.it is verified that the competition teaching method has an indispensable influence on improving students’ self-confidence and competition and cooperation.(3)Pretest post test,there was a significant difference in interest in physical education between the experimental group and the control group,There are some reasons for these differences.first,the competition teaching method catered to the students’ psychological characteristics;Second,the competition teaching method has the high degree ofparticipation;Third,the competition teaching method pays attention to students’ individual differences;Fourth,the competition teaching method has the strong stimulation and competitive character that enriches the students’ emotional experience.(4)There was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the hurdle standard and the technical evaluation relay races,10 S counts,returning races,round robins,round robin and fun game 10 competition teaching method in the experimental group hurdle teaching application advantages than conventional hurdles teaching.(5)According to the complete technical hurdles teaching order,and special practice hurdles technology characteristic design competition teaching method and practice content,reasonable and targeted respectively applied in the experimental group for each class,each link,each link is the combination of the practice,in the limited class hour in promoting the improvement of the technology of each link and the link between technology,thus improving the complete technical skills assessment and grades. |
