Upon the arrival of the konweledge econmy, the society has raised its requirements on cultivating talents. As the base of the P.E. teachers, the RE. college of higher normal education must timely adjust its education concept and principles, explore and research new teaching methods proper, scientific and creative. In dace of the challenges of the new century and adjusting to the market, it should never stick to the estalished practice.The Double feedbacks is developed on the basis of the theories of cybernetics, information, system. The paper employs the methods of documents research, teaching experiment, eexpert interview and questionaive and make a deep minute research into the Double feedbacks method in terms of theoretical basis, teavhing aim, significamce, procedure, environment and assessment. Thus it proves in theory the feasibility and main advantage of the Double traditional methods in improving the studrnts knowledge level, skills and observation-analysis-solution ablity as well as the ability to guide teaching and cultivate his pupils' creative thinking. There, the Double feedbacks not only apply to the teachingof hurdle race in the P.E. major of higher normal education, but provides a necessary reference for the teaching reform of other sports events.
