The Study Of Parents' View On Children In The Kindergarten In The City

The view on children is people's basic idea and attitude of children,and also the sum of the views and attitudes of how adults view and treat children,which includes adults 'understanding of children's characteristics,children's rights,children's status,and children's development.Parents 'scientific view on children will make children have a happy childhood,and maximally make family education and school education cooperate smoothly.Parents' view on children in the kindergarten in the city are influenced by many factors,and the research in this area helps to enrich existing theories of view on children and makes reference for parents to have scientific view on children.The research identifies parents' view on children in the kindergarten in the city by investigating the parents in 8 kindergartens in Nanning city by questionnaire and interviewing a few kindergarten teachers,leaders and children's parents,taking sociology and culture theory as theoretical basis,The result shows that there are some good aspects of parents' view on children,for example,parents can recognize the particularity of children's physical and mental development and recognize that children have the right and the dominant position and etc,but there are also some problems,for example,in terms of children's characteristics,the understanding of the nature of children mainly based on experience,but they often ignore the psychological quality of children;in terms of children's rights,parents tend to focus on traditional rights,but neglect the children's rights to play games and children's participation in decision-making in family affairs;in terms of the status of children,the actual status of children in the family is low,parents tend to establish traditional authority,but ignore the establishment of their own prestige;in the perspective of children's development,they hold the same ideas with the crowd for children development and lack understanding of all stages of children development.There are three main factors that affect parents' view on children in the kindergarten in the city:firstly,it's the social environment,including the different occupational stratification,economic stratification,allocation of educational resources;cultural tradition and so on;secondly,it's kindergarten,the material and spiritual environment in the kindergarten have a direct or indirect impact on parents;thirdly,it's parents themselves,including parents' social and occupational stratification,the cultural differences of parents,the expectation of children's roles,the conflicts of parents 'own social roles and the influence of the parents' peers.According to the problems and influencing factors,the writer proposes some suggestions for parents in the kindergarten inthe city to have scientific view on children from the society,kindergarten and parents,in the social level,it's to emphasize policy support,strengthen family protection legislation,and show real life of children through the media;kindergarten should popularize the scientific view on children for children' parents,and communicate with parents effectively through parent community;parents should change views on children and communicate with children.
