The investment of education in rural families is an important way to develop rural human resources,and an important source of educational investment in China.In the vast rural areas in our country,due to the geographical location,economic development level,the condition of education resources,historical and cultural factors etc,there are undoubtedly exist certain differences in decision-making process.This article selects rural families in southern Jiangxi province as the research objects and analyzes the secondary schools investment intention and its influencing factors by applying the human capital investment theory,educational investment theory,management& decision theory as the foundation and using SPSS17.0 statistical software to deal with related research data,interview materials.Furthermore,it verifies the research hypothesis and further analyzes the behavior characteristics in order to predict its development trend and put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to provide a reference for relevant policy researchers and government decision-making departments.The article consists of four parts: research design and survey implementation,empirical analysis,main conclusions,countermeasures and suggestions.In particular,it analyzes the investment decision-making intention of the secondary education to determine the decision-making body by selecting the rural ninth-grade students,parents and teachers as the objects.It also verifies the hypothesis,that is,the correlation between investment decision intention of secondary education and ten factors such as the characteristics of parents,family characteristics,children's characteristics,parents' education consumption investment knowledge and so on.The conclusions are as follows:(1)there exists some difference between rural families' decision-intention in secondary educational investment and national's.(2)most of the children's personal characteristics have significant influence on the investment decision intention of education;(3)existing education information acquisition channels cannot meet the needs of rural families;(4)The investment decision of rural families in secondary education is limited by their parents' ability to make decisions and their level of knowledge.The following suggestions are put forward according to the research conclusions based on research results: vigorously develop the rural secondary vocational schools;improve the quality of rural compulsory education;appropriately improve education supply capacity of senior high schools;broaden parents' acceptance of education channels and opportunities;accelerate the improvement of rural education service system;Focus on improving the rural education environment.It needs to be explained that the selected areas in this article are representative,especially in poor areas and revolutionary old areas.The results of the study are based onthe survey data,but due to different situations,it is not universally applicable.
