Using Model Approaches To Solve Biological Problems

With the vocalization of important documents such as "Opinions on Deepening Curriculum Reform to Implement the Fundamental Tasks of Lideshuren","Chinese Students' Development Core Accomplishments," and "General High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017)," biological core qualities are the teaching needs of today.The scientific thinking in biological core literacy raises even higher requirements for high school students.Biology is an experimental discipline.The great achievements in biology cannot be separated from solid scientific research methods.High school is an important stage in cultivating students' scientific research methods.This article combs relevant literature and conducts investigations and studies,summing up the status quo of high school students using model methods to solve biological problems.On this basis,the teaching system of model method in high school biology is analyzed.Then carry out teaching and research classroom,to photosynthesis and respiration problems,genetic problems,and ecosystems of these three important biological problems,combined with the specific case of questions,how to use modeling approach to solve biological problems.At the same time provide some experience to the forefront of teaching high school biology teachers.The results of the research show that,high school students have a certain perceptual knowledge of the model,but their cognition is rather vague and they cannot flexibly use model methods to solve biological problems.The teaching practice of using model methods to solve biological problems has achieved good results.It has not only improved students' academic performance,but also developed the students' cognitive level.It has also promoted the cultivation and promotion of students' core qualities in biology.
