With the development of new technology,China is transferring from extensive economy to intensive and knowledge-oriented economy,so the requirement of knowledge talents has been increased.The OFFCN Education Group is a professional vocational education group.The number of knowledge-oriented staff accounts for over half of the total staff number,so staff training plays a significant role in this organisation.For the vocational education group,lecturers are very important as they are not only the engine power of the organisational development,but also the core competitiveness to help the organisation achieve market targets.The capability of lecturers is crucial to enhance the organisational value and to gain a better development,so it is even more critical for organisations to implement lecturer training.However,the challenge for vocational training organisations in China is the lack of a systematic system.For the human resource management and application,the instability and huge movement of lecturers makes it even more difficult for them to stay in one position for a long time.So it is highly important to establish a reasonable training system for lecturers,which also plays a significant role to the survival and development of organisations in future.The case studies in this paper are divided into two parts.The case study focuses on a whole training programme in the subsidiary of OFFCN in Heilongjiang,from the beginning to the end of the programme.This case demonstrates a variety of challenges,which manager Wang has faced in the process.It shows some problems and current situation of organisational training from staff performance,lecturer teaching and training evaluation.The analysis of the case studies is divided into three parts in a logic order which includes current situation-problems-reasons-suggestion.Firstly,on the basis of the current situation and problems in OFFCN in Heilongjiang,the programme discusses the challenges.Secondly,it explores the reasons of those problems and challenges in OFFCN,Heilongjiang,especially on the balance between short-term benefits caused by fierce market competition and sustainable education.Finally,suggestion is put forward,such as the improvement of lecturer training through curriculum and management systems.Finally,through the discussion in this paper,training organisations could have a better development.OFFCN Education Group can also improve the training quality.At the same time,the paper gives some suggestion on vocational training for similar organisations on staff training and development.
