Education plays an important role in personal growth and social development.And modern university education is a major channel for talent cultivation and social mobility.Education is not related to gender.However,in the history,there is a lack of women's education in both East and West.It was difficult for men and women to become classmates in the past.The reason of this is diverse.And the realization of co-education in modern China has its own special development track.Modern Chinese women's school education started from scratch,from men and women to co-education,it was inseparable from the then national political situation and world trend.At the same time,this process is also an important manifestation of the modernization of Chinese education.Young students are easy to accept new ideas and break old traditions.The role of them in society is increasingly important.The joining of female students has also strengthened this team.They use the new knowledge and new ideas they learned to transform the old society and shoulder the mission of the times.This article is based on modern Chinese educational materials,newspaper articles,memoirs and oral materials.And it takes the co-education of Chinese university as the research object.This article focuses on the following issues:how the universities' co-education in China was achieved and how it caused controversy;what were the changes and problems after co-education was achieved;what were the influences of coeducation on personal social interaction,marriage attitude,career choice;affected by this,more and more female students have stepped out of their homes,entered schools,and chose to pursue social careers after graduation;Young students who grew up during this period,as a new force in society,played an active role in the development of the country and society.
