| In 1998,the Ministry of Education set the original martial arts specialty as a national traditional sports(undergraduate)major,and in 2012 changed its name to martial arts and national traditional sports(undergraduate)majors.The original intention of the country to establish this profession is:"training high-level professionals in martial arts,national traditional health,and national and folk sports".In order to better grasp the current situation of the professional construction and explore its development constraints,the profession can realize the original intention of the founding of the country and embark on a sustainable development path.Based on this,the study focused on the use of literature,questionnaires,expert interviews,mathematical statistics,and logical analysis to investigate the martial arts and traditional sports majors of 11 colleges and universities in 12 provinces and cities in western China.There are seven aspects of talent training target positioning,curriculum setting,faculty resources,current status of students,management status,site facilities,and employment status.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Unclear orientation of personnel training objectives,training goals and curriculum Set the fitting degree is not high.The specific performance of the training goal is mainly based on martial arts,national and folk sports,traditional sports health,but in the course of the curriculum to focus on martial arts-related courses.From the perspective of curriculum setting,in the curriculum setting,the general education curriculum is relatively single,with ideological politics,college English,and computer as the main components;the proportion of compulsory courses is too high,the average value has reached 41.55%;the national traditional sports health and national folk sports curriculum are set.Less is less than 10%of the total credits;professional electives account for 20.85%of the total credits,with a low proportion.(2)The age structure of teachers is reasonable,but the structure of academic qualifications and titles is irrational.Masters and undergraduate degrees account for 78.24%of the total number of teachers in the school;most of the titles are lecturers,and professors only account for 16%of the total number of teachers.(3)The school management is relatively strict and the management system is relatively comprehensive,but the management organization is not perfect.(4)The construction of venue facilities is relatively weak,and the traditional facilities and experimental facilities for traditional sports are not enough to meet the actual needs of schooling and training.(5)The employment rate is relatively high,but there is still a certain gap between the direction of employment and social needs.To this end,the study recommends that:(1)Based on the original intention of the establishment of the Chinese martial arts and national traditional sports specialty,and in accordance with the social needs to develop a reasonable personnel training objectives.By reducing the course setting of compulsory courses,students can increase the space for independent class selection,balance the development of disciplines,and establish a sound curriculum system.(2)Based on the long-term,vigorously introduce Wushu and traditional ethnic sports professionals,optimize the teaching staff,and establish a retraining mechanism for teachers' ability.(3)Expand the enrollment channels,increase the national traditional sports enrollment program,and improve the student management organization.(4)The tripartite cooperation between the government,schools and enterprises will increase the construction of stadium facilities.(5)Conduct various forms of employment guidance services and establish and improve the cooperation mechanism between schools and enterprises.In order to achieve the healthy development of college martial arts and national traditional sports in western China,it will contribute to the development of martial arts and national traditional sports in China. |
