The geographic elective module is an important part of the geography in the senior high school.It is an integral part of the geographic curriculum logic system of the senior school.But in the actual teaching process,the characteristics and application value of geography courses are not highlighted because of teachers' lack of flexibility on handling the teaching contents,which results in inefficient teaching and the low level of interest in learning.Therefore,taking the classroom teaching of Natural Disaster and Its Prevention as a specific case,this essay uses such study methods like case study,classroom observation,interview and so on to analyze the relationship and differences between the compulsory courses and elective courses of geography in senior high school.The author mainly studies the relevant integrated strategy of courses.The study found that: Firstly,the elective courses and compulsory courses are organically related in the logic of the disciplinary system,discipline thinking and methods,which are different in the presentation of the specific contents and logical organization.Secondly,curriculum integration needs the comprehensive analysis for the geography course in the senior high school,which includes these two ways like giving the priority to the compulsory to integrate the contents of the elective courses and giving the priority to the elective courses to integrate the compulsory courses.Thirdly,the study finds a integrated strategy between the compulsory and elective courses.At the first,there must be a comprehensive analysis for the structure and standard of the elective courses.Secondly,the problems should be integrated aiming at the teaching contents.And then the applicative teaching strategies should be selected and the specific teaching cases should be designed.According to the conclusions above,the author comes up with the relevant strategies and suggestions.First,we should get the elective courses teaching to regress to the requirements of the curriculum standards.Second,we should recognize the relationship between the elective and compulsory courses rightly.Third,the teachers' teaching application ability in the curriculum integration should be improved.
