The research on college counselor performance appraisal system is an important means not only to clarify counselors' role and job responsibilities but also to measure counselors' work status and effectiveness scientifically and dynamically;it also guarantees the team of counselors become the backbone in ideological and political education as well as the organizer,implementer and the instructor.For one thing,it will expand both the research perspective and expand new research content of performance appraisal system theory;for another,it will provide important basis for the actual operation of performance appraisal system.At the same time,it is of great significance for strengthening the status quo of the research,enhancing counselors' work effectiveness,improving the quality of the counselor team,and advancing the long-term mechanism of the counselor team.Through the literature reading,this article understands college counselors' work,connotation and role of the performance appraisal system and the overview of this system;and then analyses current counselor performance appraisal system of Putian College.Through questionnaires and expert interviews,the findings are as follows.There was a lack of main principles for performance appraisal in the counselor performance appraisal system of Putian College and the goal was not clear;the index system was incomplete and systematic improvements were needed;there was a lack of unified standards and a lack of supervision;the evaluation mechanism was not strong enough;the guidance is not obvious and the assessment result feedback is insufficient;instead of feedback,the assessment was attached importance on.The reasons are mainly related to such aspects as the unclear positioning of the theme role of performance appraisal,the incomplete design of the index system,and the lack of a unified understanding of the assessment connotation.Then,on the basis of drawing lessons from the performance assessment systems of four college counselors inside and outside the province,and based on experience inspiration research,Delphi method and AHP method were used to reconstruct the index weight of the performance appraisal system of the counselors in Putian University,and related measures were proposed.Then the aim of optimizing Putian College counselor performance appraisal system was achieved.This study has positively promoted the improvement of the counselor performance appraisal system of of Putian University,promoted the enhancement of the human resources management of Putian University and optimized the talents of the instructors;it also has also offered reference on the construction,research and development of the performance appraisal system for other college counselors.
