| The Chinese language teaching in New Zealand has been strongly promoted by the Chinese government and local government.In recent years,Chinese learning has formed a craze.By 2017,144 Chinese teaching assistants will be teaching in Chinese from China to New Zealand.As one of the members,I had been to New Zealand to teach for a year.Dunedin is the second largest city in the South Island of New Zealand,and the area with Dunedin school of education,with selection of pre-service teachers’ qualification,but Chinese teaching situation of Dunedin hadn’t been fully explained,Chinese teaching method hadn’t been enough attention.This article focuses on the three major teaching,task-based teaching method,the New Zealand sign language teaching,activities teaching method,among them,the activity teaching method is given priority to with cultural activities teaching,mainly explore the Dunedin cultural activities in primary and intermediate school Chinese teaching.The author,according to her teaching practice in Dunedin primary and intermediate school,propose the following questions to explore: Dunedin primary and intermediate school Chinese teaching situation,the two kinds of teaching method in the use of Dunedin primary and intermediate school classroom,Dunedin cultural activities in primary and intermediate school Chinese teaching.This paper uses the questionnaire survey method,observation method,comparative analysis method to analyze the above problems,the purpose is to draw a valuable conclusion: Dunedin primary and intermediate school Chinese teaching situation,how to use task-based teaching method and sign language teaching in class,how to design the cultural activities in the Chinese teaching.First of all,the author obtained the first and real datas about the teaching situation of Chinese teaching in 2017,which is of reference value.Secondly,the author gives the specific case about applying task-based teaching method to primary and intermediate school class,combines New Zealand sign language teaching method with Chinese in class and gives the specific case,this process is full of corresponding innovation.Finally,culture and language are inseparable,the cultural teaching and language teaching activity influence and complement each other,therefore,the research on cultural activities in Dunedin primary and intermediate school Chinese teaching is of great significance. |
