In the era of rapid development of information technology,new requirements for education teaching in the new era of modernization have been gradually acquired.With the diversification of teaching methods and teaching means,teaching methods and means to keep pace with The Times,follow the pace of The Times,abandon the shortcomings of the traditional teaching methods,combining with the advantages of modern science and technology,forming a new teaching method.This paper aims to introduce video assisted teaching in institutions of higher learning tennis teaching process,the emphasis is on to find out suitable teaching methods of modern college students,and verified in the teaching experiments,in order to improve in the future of tennis teaching,to offer reference for teachers in tennis teaching in colleges and universities.Video assisted teaching method,which is based on the advantages of traditional teaching methods,combining with the video in the teaching of the auxiliary function,with text,images,sound and animation,and other forms of performance,enrich the teaching content,stimulate students' interest in learning,motivation.In order to improve the quality and effect of the teaching,the students can understand the key points of the technical movements more intuitively,and speed up the mastery of the technical movements.This article uses the literature material law,questionnaire survey method,teaching experiment,mathematical statistics and comparative analysis,in Guangzhou Sports University 2015 level of journalism and communication professional tennis elective classes as experimental object,the students' body form and physical quality had no obvious difference,on the basis of the students are divided into experimental class and that in comparative classes.After 32 hours after the teaching practice of physical quality on all subjects and the examination of tennis basic technology,the final result,according to the experimental classes of students' physical quality improve effect is remarkable,tennis basic skills are better than that in comparative classes.Through statistical analysis of experimental results,the following conclusions are drawn:1.The improvement of physical quality between experimental class and control class has obvious effect,and the contrast between video assisted teaching and traditional teaching method has advantages in improving physical quality.2.The experimental class most of the students have mastered the technologystandard tennis movement,in the technology assessment,tennis forehand,the backhand and serve them,skill evaluation scores and grades are better than that in comparative classes students of theoretical knowledge.3.The video assisted instruction has inspired the students' interest in learning,the success of arousing the initiative of the students in the classroom learning,attention in class,students with frequent interaction between teachers and students,students' classroom performance is better than that in comparative classes is obvious.4.The video assisted teaching gives students various aspects ability training,promote the students' ability of solidarity and collaboration between,improve the students found the problem,analysis and problem solving skills,and develop the students' ability of self-study and guide others.
