Literacy teaching is not only the foundation of determining the quality of Chinese teaching,but also the key and difficult point of Chinese teaching in the lower grades,especially for the students in the border ethnic areas of Puer City.The study of "literacy" is of great significance for them.The purpose is not only to enable students to complete Chinese learning,to obtain better results,but also to stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning Chinese characters,and to cultivate students' ability to independent learning and using Chinese characters,thus helping students to better involve into society and get a better life in the future.Therefore,in order to further improve the quality of Chinese teaching in the border areas of Puer City and promote the better inheritance and dissemination of the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation,it is very important to investigate and analyze the present situation of Chinese literacy teaching in local primary schools.This study will take the first primary school and minzu primary school of Menglian County,the Siyuan primary school and minzu primary school of Jiangcheng County,the minzu primary school and the Mengsuo town primary school of Ximeng County,Border of Puer City,as the research object.Take the present situation of Chinese literacy teaching in Grade 1 and Grade 2 of those six Primary Schools of Puer City as the research content.Through field investigation,questionnaire investigation,accompanying classes,interviews between teachers and students etc,to investigate and analysis the present situation of local Chinese literacy teaching and learing.The study consists of the following parts.The first part is the introduction,mainly on the research value,reviewed,objects and contents,and research methods.The second part is the introduction of the background about the Chinese literacy teaching in the border ethnic areas of Puer City.The third part detailed analyzes the current situation of Chinese literacy from teacher's teaching and students' learning.The fourth part mainly analyzes the existing problems in the process of Chineseliteracy teaching in primary schools from the perspectives of social environment.teachers' teaching and students' learning,and makes an analysis on the attribution of existing problems from the perspectives of social environment,teachers' teaching and students' learning.The fifth part deals with specific problems,strives to explore practical and effective solutions and improvement strategies for the frontier ethnic minority teachers to carry out Chinese literacy teaching to provide some theoretical reference.
