As a teaching mode,project learning is widely applied in European and American countries.Aiming at the goal oriented and process experience,which is involved in project learning,it accords with the learning concept of "independent,cooperative and exploring" in Chinese curriculum reform..In order to respond to the "quality education" advocated by modern and contemporary education,this study will carry out the investigation about project learning of classical Chinese in the edited book of the first volume.and try to solve the problems of low studying efficiency and passive learning in the teaching of classical Chinese in junior middle school.Based on the current research situation of classical Chinese teaching and project learning in junior middle school,this paper analyzes the problems and reasons of classical Chinese teaching in junior middle school.Combined with classroom examples,teaching investigation and analysis of teaching practice,it is proposed that classical Chinese project learning should be divided into the preparation stage,the investigation stage and the concluding stage.Then through the definition of the concept of project learning and the analysis of the theoretical support of project learning,on this basis,a specific teaching design is made for the learning unit of classical Chinese in the edited book of the first volume of eight grade.Through the investigation of teaching design,to ensure that students are located in the main position of the class and can explore the related teaching tasks independently and cooperatively by the driving of project tasks during the classical Chinese teaching.And a designed system,which is proposed to evaluate junior middle school classical project learning outcomes,is used to test students' learning outcomes.Through the related research,we can draw a conclusion that the project learning in classical Chinese in junior middle school has obvious advantages compared with the classical Chinese class.Firstly,it integrated teaching contents and enriched learning resources of classical Chinese;Secondly,it turned the learning of classical Chinese knowledge from lecture to inquiry and improvement of students' interest in learning;Thirdly,it turned traditional classroom to multi form classroom to ensure that students can learn classical Chinese learning methods;Fourthly,in the learning process,students use self cooperation and inquiry to show the multiple intelligence classroom.But at the same time,there are a series of problems in the implementation of project learning in classical Chinese teaching,such as insufficient teaching hours,the differences of students' learning ability,teaching implementation and so on,still needed further exploration.
