Difficulty in middle-school-physics learning is also the problem in middleschool-physics teaching.In this study,questionnaires and interviews are used to investigate the difficulties in middle-school physics learning of students in Xinping County.After the main internal and external causes of difficulties in middle school students' physics learning are analyzed,the strategies and suggestions for solving the learning difficulties are given.Xinping County is an ethnic minority autonomous county in the border area of China with the same features of other ethnic minority areas in China: lots of poor rural areas,backward concept of education,low educational level of parents and large proportion of ethnic minority students.Therefore,the research results obtained in Xinping County,will not only be helpful to improve the middle-school students' physics learning in Xinping County,but also,to some extent,to improve the quality of middle-school-physics teaching in frontier areas of our country.The research contents of this subject are as follows:The research background,topic basis and the significance of this subject are stated.Besides,the necessity of studying the causes of the difficulty in middle-schoolphysics learning in Xinping County is illustrated.The concepts of both learning difficulties and physics learning difficulties are described,and the basic theories involved in the research are explained.The questionnaires and interviews are used to investigate the difficulties of middle-school-physics learning in Xinping County.According to the survey results,the main reasons causing difficulties of middle school students' learning in Xinping County are found out.Finally,aiming at the reasons,the corresponding solutions are put forward.
