A Survey Of Learning Interest In Middle-school-physics Of Students In Border Minority Areas

Learning interest is the internal motivation for students to explore knowledge and develop their abilities.It is not only the starting point of teaching,but also the destination of teaching.Therefore,the physics teaching is not only to make the students acquire knowledge and skills,but also to make the students experience the beauty of scientific inquiry in the process of learning,so as to stimulate the students' interest in learning.However,because of the low level in teaching and education in the border areas with backward economy,it is difficult to cultivate the learning interest of the students there.In this study,as is a place in border area with many minorities,backward economy,poor cultural quality and unique regional cultural characteristics,Maguan County,Wenshan State,Yunnan Province,is taken as an example to investigate the physics learning interest of middle school students in border area,analyze the problems faced when cultivating their learning interest and provide opinions to the problems as reference of teaching.After collecting lots of references about physics learning interest of middle school student,this subject is studied in the following aspects.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction,which is chapter 1.The background,the significance,the current research at home and abroad,the problem to be solved and the methedology of this subject are stated.The second part is the central part of the research,which includes three chapters.The second part both the requirement of new curriculum standard and the related concept and basic theory of interest which support this study are stated.Meanwhile,the meaning of cultivating physics learning interest of middle school students is also indicated;the third part investigates of middle school students in ordinary class and physics teachers in ten of the junior high schools(Maguan No.1 Middle School,Maguan No.2 Middle School,Maguan No.3 Middle School,Maguan No.4 Middle School,Dalishu Middle School,Muchang Middle School,Jiahanqing Middle School,Pojiao Middle School,Gulinqing Middle School and Jinchang Middle School)in Maguan County,Wenshan State,Yunnan Province,are surveyed by questionnaire.The fourth part according to the survey results,the problems of the physics learning interest of senior high school students in border area are found out.The third part is the summary and reflect,solving strategies to the problems of the physics learning interest of senior high school students in border area concluded from the survey results are provided.
