In recent years,the economic development of our country is rapid and the competition is increasing.People are facing more and more pressure on work,life,study and interpersonal.Psychological problems,such as depression,anxiety,conflict,suicide,and job burnout are becoming more and more common.In order to emphasize the importance of the mental health of the whole people,the government has issued several documents.With the increase of social deand and the promotion of national policy,there are 361 colleges and universities in the whole country.The students of psychology are the backbone of group psychological counseling.To improve the quality of psychology students,we need to conduct systematic and in-depth studies on the state of learning,including curriculum,learning and practice,and student needs.Based on two methods of questionnaire and life story interview,this study takes the psychology majors in Yunnan universities as an example to discuss the current situation and existing problems of group psychological counseling learning and practice of college students majoring in psychology.Study one studied the contents of group psychological counseling from the four dimensions of basic knowledge,traditional theory,rare theory,and traditional techniques through the self-made “Questionnaires on Group Counseling Learning Contents” and “Questionnaire Contents of Group Counseling Practice”;from the traditional theory Ethical codes,rare theories,assessment methods,traditional techniques,supervision,and assessors' seven dimensions examine the content of practice;analysis of group psychological counseling and practice of 305 students.The results show that: students in the group counseling courses involved the most traditional theory,followed by basic knowledge,traditional technology,the least is the rare theory;the traditional theory of dimension and basic knowledge of the existence of academic differences,undergraduate students than in the group counseling class More involved traditional theories and basic knowledge;students practice traditional theories the most,followed by assessment methods,ethical codes,rare theory,traditional techniques,assessors,the least is the supervision;assessment methods and traditional technology dimensions exist academic differences,The graduate students used more evaluation methods and traditional techniques than undergraduate students in group counseling.Study two adopts the life story interview.Taking a graduate student in psychology as the research object,we analyzed the group counseling experience andthe whole life experience of the students,understood the characteristics and personality characteristics of the group counseling,and explored the relationship between personality characteristics and the characteristics of group counseling.The association of consulting characteristics found that: in addition to the need for learning and practice,excellent group leaders have an important influence on the effectiveness of group counseling.In addition,leaders conduct group counseling with emphasis on details.In summary,mainly draw the following conclusions:(1)Eight colleges and universities in Yunnan Province have set up psychology majors.Among them,there are 8 schools that offer group counseling courses,and the rate is 75%.The courses are combined with theoretical and practical courses,and theoretical knowledge examinations are conducted.The performance evaluation evaluates performance in the form of a combination of performance and peacetime performance;however,students lack practice and there is no school facility that provides students with group counseling.(2)In terms of learning,the students involved in the group counseling class involved the most traditional theories,followed by the basic knowledge and traditional techniques,and the least was the rare theory;there were academic differences between the traditional theory dimension and the basic knowledge dimension,and the undergraduate students were better than the graduate students in the group psychology.Counselling courses involve more traditional theories and basic knowledge;basic knowledge,group activities involve more than other knowledge;learning theory and technology are mainly common theories of psychology,and are all derived from abroad,localization or local theory Not much contact.(3)In practice,students adopt the most traditional theories in practice,followed by assessment methods,ethical codes,rare theories,traditional techniques,assessors,and at least supervisors;there are academic differences between assessment method dimensions and traditional technology dimensions,and graduate student ratios Students are more likely to adopt assessment methods and traditional techniques when conducting group counseling;moreover,they emphasize ethical principles when students are more likely;supervise when there are many design plans;and have less supervision during and after the process;members are most often used.Activities are stitched together;neglect of assessments;evaluators are self-assessed by members.(4)When students learn and practice group psychological counseling,serious,flexible,innovative,full of leadership and attention to detail will affect the effectiveness of learning and practice.Moreover,students are easy-going,self-confident,optimistic,sensitive,and self-reliant.The ability to control the field and adapt to the changes will play an important role in the effectiveness of group counseling.Students lack theoretic and technical considerations when designing programs.
