Research On The Construction Of Middle School Students' Mental MAP Based On Google Earth

In today's society,building Mental Maps has become an important way to promote geography learning efficiently.In view of this,Chinese geographers are working hard to explore ways to help students construct Mental Maps more effectively.Google Earth has powerful earth simulation capabilities,covers a wide range of geographic information,and can be combined with geography teaching to assist middle school students in the construction of Mental Maps.This article will explore the maps in the brain and Google Earth in order to achieve the purpose of using Google Earth to assist middle school students in building map strategies in the brain.The main contents of this article are as follows: The introductory part is based on a large number of relevant documents in the Mental Maps and Google Earth.This article proposes in-depth explanations of the origins of the maps in the United States,Europe and the United States,and the history of the development of the maps in both the theory and practice.Explain the significance of the inquiry.The body part is divided into three chapters.The first chapter defines the related concepts of the Mental Maps,compares it with the traditional maps,and also explains the characteristics of the Mental Maps,and its great significance to middle school students;The second chapter is to survey the construction status of the current middle school students' maps using the questionnaire survey and analyze the data to obtain the conclusions.The third chapter analyzes the feasibility of using Google Earth to assist map construction in the brain.Mainly explain the theoretical basis for using Google Earth to assist in constructing Mental Maps,and also list Google Earth the faction that can be used to assist Mental Maps.Based on the above analysis.Presented a strategy for constructing Mental Maps using Google Earth,and list four examples to illustrate every strategy.For secondary school geography teachers in the process of teaching in the future,better use of Google Earth to assist in the construction of the learner's Mental Maps will provide some inspiration and reference.The summary part is to explain the innovation point of this thesis and analyze the inadequacies.
