Mathematics reading ability refers to the conversion of the mathematics language that students read and the mathematics information in the brain,based on mathematical reading materials,to associate,reason,and extract key mathematical information to solve practical problems.At the same time,having higher mathematics reading ability can also improve the level of mathematics education to a certain extent and enhance students' ability to learn independently.Therefore,it is crucial to train elementary school students' mathematics reading ability.In order to study effective strategies for the cultivation of primary school mathematics reading ability,in this study,literature review methods were used to read and analyze predecessors related research.Combined with practical teaching experience,mathematics reading ability is divided into metacognitive ability,reading reasoning ability,language transformation ability,generalization ability and associative memory ability.Secondly,using the experimental method to conduct comparative experiments in the second grade and fifth grade in the C primary school,to explore the training strategies for primary students' mathematics reading ability.According to the experimental results,the following two training strategies were proposed for students in these two grades respectively.The first stage students' mathematics reading ability strategy training:(1)Develop training plan;(2)Choose the appropriate math picture book to carry out a weekly mathematics picture book class,introduce game-type,pass-breaking-style,textbook-style classroom sessions to attract Students actively participate in mathematics reading,use reading interests to promote the development of reading ability;(3)Focus on cultivating students' mathematics reading habits during class;(4)Develop interesting math reading activities to enrich students' math reading range and improve math reading comprehension ability.The second stage students' mathematics reading ability strategy training:(1)Research students' mathematics reading ability;(2)Design targeted mathematicsreading materials and carry out mathematics reading classes;(3)Develop background knowledge and application questions to prepare special training;(4)Real-time monitoring of students' mathematics reading abilities,and the establishment of students' ability growth files based on the results of phased monitoring and school year monitoring.
