This paper investigates and analyzes the implementation of the new biology curriculum in Zhaoyang district,Zhaotong,Yunnan province.we conducted a survey through the questionnaires,interviews and field visits were used to investigate the teachers 'condition,teaching methods,main teaching hardware conditions,students' learning styles and evaluation methods of students in the new biology curriculum.According to the survey results show that: since the implementation of the new curriculum of junior middle school biology in junior high school in Zhaoyang has made some achievements,but there are still many problems that need to be solved urgently.For example,the experimental environment of junior high school biology teaching is rather poor,can not fully meet the demand of biology teaching;although junior high school biology teachers in the experimental teaching of biological experimental equipment to be applied,but only as an tool to teaching content,but not to strengthen the demonstration of the development and utilization of experimental equipment,so there is no set biology is an experimental science consciousness;In the information era,multimedia technology can help to promote junior high school biology teaching.However,multimedia teaching conditions of junior high school of Zhaoyang district are obviously inadequate.Although the implementation of the new curriculum,but the specific implementation did not change under the new curriculum role;there are different degrees of difference of teachers' quality and the requirements of the new curriculum;teachers are accustomed to using the traditional teaching methods.There is a gap between teachers' qualities and the requirements of the new curriculum.Aiming at these problems puts forward improvement suggestions: improve the experiment condition,strengthen the exploitation and utilization of experimental consciousness;ensure that the necessary input of multimedia teaching equipment;strengthening the library construction conditions,to meet the needs of teachers and teaching;strengthen the training of teachers,changing teachers' teaching ideas,improve the quality of teachers;teachers' teaching by changing students' learning method;curriculum evaluation weight change the light of the establishment of new course evaluation system,promote the implementation of the new curriculum.This topic focuses on the implementation of biology teaching in junior high school in Zhaoyang District and finds out the problems in carrying of the teaching new biology curriculum in junior middle school.It also proposes some suggestions for improvement,so as to provide references for better implementation of new biology curriculum.
