Programmed instruction,which is formed on the basis of “programmed teaching theory” proposed by American psychologist,behaviorist B.F.Skinner,demonstrates setting teaching objectives according to individual differences,making learning outcomes explicit,refining the teaching steps,and emphasizing the feedback of information.It is a new teaching methodology and technique with vitality.It can meet the requirements of the new curriculum standard.In this thesis,following the programmed instruction,the teaching experiments,questionnaires and mathematical statistic methods are applied by the author to conduct teaching experiment in the basketball interest-oriented classes in Ningbo No.15 Middle School,and the teaching content refers to jump shot skill.The difference between programmed instruction and traditional teaching method is explored and analyzed in this thesis.The results are as follows.(1)The program design is based on the principle of "small step",and it combines the characteristics of the teaching of shooting skills,and the structure of the program is reasonable.It helps to simplify the difficulty of the technical movement.The students choose the learning progress with their own circumstances,which can enhance their self-confidence and improve their learning enthusiasm.(2)After the teaching experiment,the results of quantitative and qualitative tests of the students in the program teaching class are all better than those in the traditional teaching class.Among them,there are significant differences between the two test scores of the free throw line,the fixed point shooting and the technical qualitative evaluation.It is feasible and effective to carry out the teaching method of program teaching for the middle school students to jump up the shooting skills.(3)The use of multimedia teaching program guide in middle school basketball teaching interest and video feedback teaching method can improve students' initiative,enthusiasm,make students more intuitive understanding of the technical action essentials and find their own problems,in a jump shot in learning technology can significantly reduce the error action.(4)The program teaching is not conducive to the cultivation of students' creativeability because of their fixed procedures.Secondly,in order to ensure the teaching effect is also limited in the number of students,and more teaching time is needed.
