Happiness is an eternal topic.At all times and in all over the world,Different scholars have analyzed and studied happiness from different perspectives in different fields.Previous studies on happiness were mainly based on adults' perspective,lacking relevant research from children's perspective.As an independent body,children have the right to express themselves.Their voice should be noticed and valued.Therefore,from the perspective of children,this study focuses on happiness in the eyes of the top class children in kindergarten.The study upholds the attitude of "returning to the facts themselves",paying attention to the children's views on happiness in the real life world,walking into the inner world of children,listening to the voice of children,and examining our own behavior.This study adopts qualitative research paradigm,selects two kindergartens in N city.In each kindergarten,the writer selects a large class as this research object,a total of 60 children.In order to avoid the situation that children are unable to voice due to the lack of language,this study use appropriate methods such as conversation,paintings to obtain relevant information on children's understanding of happiness.Based on the original data,the write summarized three research themes: children's cognition of happiness,children's experience of happiness,and factors that influence their happiness.This study reaches the following conclusion:First,the understanding of happiness is specific,but its connotation is rich.The children have their own views and understanding of “happiness”,they define happiness asa positive emotional experience,a relationship construction;the satisfaction of wants a need to be satisfied,a close and friendly behavior and a meaningful life.Second,the experience of children's happiness is multi-dimensional.It mainly includes seven aspects:pleasure,love,autonomy,sense of belonging,value,sense of achievement and hope.Third,the main source of children's happiness is spiritual satisfaction.For children,the objective content affecting their happiness can be divided into two aspects: material and mental.When the material is guaranteed,children's happiness comes mainly from the satisfaction of spiritual needs.The mental needs of children in large classes are satisfied through "playing","accompanying" and "praising".This is determined by the characteristics of children's physical and mental development.According to the results,the author puts forward substantial suggestions for how to promote children's happiness.The study of children's happiness is not only to help us change our perspective to understand the happiness,but also to appeal to children's rights and to respect children.
