Social Work Involved The Study Of Education Problem Of Single Mother Family Children

As a special group,children from single mother families are vulnerable to different problems,especially education problem.In single mother families,the transition of mothers’ function tends to ignore the education of the children,and leads to lack of education,the children who can’t receive enough love are easy to have emotional and behavioral problems,which are likely to have a negative impact on their learning attitudes and achievements.In the internship,the author collects documents,analyses data,and make interviews and observations,and meanwhile makes professional study and case study of social work intervention to the client Xiao wen in the community,who is from single mother family.Thus,the thesis clarify the issues faced by the subject,such as the lack of family education,the lack of social supports,emotional suppression,psychological and learning problems,etc.In the case work,the author effectively utilizes the professional knowledge of social work,and integrate social service concept and practical operation skills into the actual service,thereby making professional service plan and solving the problem of the case.At present,there are few practical researches on education problem of single mother family children in the field of social work research in China.Social work should pay more attention to the disadvantaged groups.Single mother family,as a special disadvantaged family,whose children education should be concerned.This paper aims at substituting the case of professional social work method to address the education problem of single mother families’ children,thereby promoting the development of the influence of case for social work to the education of single mother families’ children,so as to provide practical experience for this kind of problem solving.
