With the development of higher education,faculty management is a practical problem that is worth discussing and studying.Taking HG University and SH college as an example,the faculty management of humanities and social science under the background of science and technology caused by the unbalanced development in the discipline and unfair allocation of resources as well as its own reason of the problems is studied.HG University is a national first-class comprehensive university,because its predecessor is a science and engineering colleges,in the development process,in order to achieve the requirements of the comprehensive class,the humanities and social sciences disciplines was taken into the development system.Although the discipline classification is improved,but because of its strong science and engineering background,it makes the humanities and social science disciplines started late,the development of the discipline is not only balanced,but also led to the emergence of the problem of teacher management.There is unfair allocation of resources between teachers of science and engineering and the teachers of Humanities and Social Sciences,the assessment system is not perfect,there exists single of incentive,the material incentive differences are too large,space for development of teachers is limited,these faculty management problems not only affect the rational allocation and effective utilization of the teachers,but also hindered the development of the school more or less.From the perspective of human resource management,and combined with the theory of higher education management,this paper analysis and discusses the practical problem in the faculty management of HG university and SH college,and according to the reasons of problems,starting from the differences between disciplines and professional,and requirements of different teachers,improvement of teachers will be done in differentiated management,and the relative perfect system of faculty management should be done.To break the limitation of the traditional personnel management system,update the concept of faculty management,improve the inadequate of teacher resources caused by the difficulty of introduction of talent,starting from the school level,according to the differences between subjects,to make a comprehensive evaluation system,set up the teacher flow standard in accordance with the needs of the school development,focus on teachers' personal development and excitation mechanism,so,the current status of the faculty management will be improved.And a little reflection on the management system of the school level,to put forward the idea of innovation of educational ideas,and promote the strategic goal of HG university to realize the world-class universities.
