Only if emancipating people from basic physiological needs,there would be a higher level of demand,according to Abraham Maslow hierarchy of needs that human needs are developed from the lower level to the higher.With the fast development of economy as well as the living standards,the travel demand will also increase.What's more,tourism market of university students plays a significant role in the whole tourism market and attracts widely attention.Comparing with other cities,the university students in Shenzhen show a more prominent demand for travel characterized by the higher tourism rate,the higher expense of travel and the wider travel range.There are three main reasons for the high demand of travel.Firstly,on the macro level,due to the fast development of economy and the abundant material life,people begin to pay more attention on spiritual needs and spend more money and time on travelling.Thus travel becomes the popular way to relax for the public.Under the tolerant and loose environment,there is an obvious increase in the number of travelers and the number of times among university students.Secondly,on the intermediate level,Shenzhen has an incomparable advantage in geography,located in southern Guangdong province and the pearl river delta east coast,adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao,and separated from Hong Kong across the water.Well covered and convenient transportation makes it much easier to for people to travel.Additionally,being adjacent to Hong Kong provides a convenient condition including more routes and cheaper price for overseas travel.The air fares to southeast Asian countries even cheaper than that of domestic travel.This is one of the most important reasons for university students travelling outside.Besides,as the charter city and the city of innovation,Shenzhen has highly developed economy and a highly inclusive and younger city atmosphere,which create abundant job and entrepreneurship opportunities.According to study,80 % of university students in Shenzhen have attended some internship jobs on vacation which provides financial support for travel.Finally,on the micro level,there are a number of university students in Shenzhen.Influenced by the environment,university students of Shenzhen have active minds and a strong will to travel.They attach importance to the cultivation of self-practice ability and are willing to make use of spare time to widen their horizons by travelling outside or taking part in social practice abroad.Besides the native students of Shenzhen who have an advantage of rich family material conditions,those students from other provinces also have many part-time job opportunities.It's reported that the Shenzhen University provides many work-study programs to satisfy students ‘needs every year.Besides there are also many social part-time jobs that pay average salary at 120 yuan per day.That means there is a bright future in university students tourism market of Shenzhen which plays a significant part in the development of the whole tourism market of Shenzhen.This is what the article try to investigate.Therefore,it's necessary to study the travel behaviors and concrete behavior traits of university students of Shenzhen for deeply exploring the market.The article combs the relevant basic theory at first,and then collaborates relevant theories of exploring tourism market including tourism attitude theory,tourism motivation theory,travel destination theory and travel behavior theory etc.that lays the theoretical foundation for further research.And on the basis of former research,the article studies the university students of Shenzhen in methods of interviews and questionnaires and uses correlation analysis,frequency analysis and other methods to summarize the characteristics of travel behavior of university students in Shenzhen.More importantly,the article puts forward some suggestions and solutions form multiple facets,hoping to be helpful for relevant travel companies and the government departments.
