SWOT For The Development Of Outdoor Sports Events In Guizhou Province,Southwest China Analysis And Research

Mountain outdoor sports have been introduced into our country so far,has become a hot sport,domestic regions strive to carry out their own characteristics of mountain outdoor events.Through the successful development of three consecutive international mountain outdoor events in southwest Guizhou,Guizhou has gradually been recognized by the society,its influence has been increasing,and gradually enjoys a good reputation in the world.the accompanying mountain outdoor brand events have become an important force to promote Guizhou qianxinan prefecture,and even on behalf of China’s Guizhou based on the international mountain outdoor sports field.Therefore,this paper uses the method of literature review,case analysis,SWOT analysis and other comprehensive research methods to analyze the historical development of outdoor sports events in western Guizhou,as well as the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats in the process of development.The results show that:(1)due to the unique karst landform,colorful natural landscape,ethnic cultural resources and the strong support of the local government,the mountain outdoor sports events in southwest Guizhou have obvious advantages,and have certain scale effect and economic effect,and the local residents’self-employment atmosphere is strong;(2)due to the influence of the commercialization degree of some events is not high,the shortage of outdoor sports professionals,some infrastructure is not perfect,order maintenance is not in place,media publicity is not strong,etc.,the mountain outdoor sports events in southwest Guizhou have certain disadvantages;(3)with the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,with the support of governments at all levels and relevant sports industry policies,the mountain outdoor sports events in southwest Guizhou are facing great development opportunities;(4)with the development of mountain outdoor events in other neighboring provinces,the competition of mountain outdoor events market is intensified,and the mountain outdoor events in southwest Guizhou have a long way to go.Further suggestions:(1)change the operation mode of mountain outdoor events and speed up the commercialization of events;(2)further training of mountain outdoor sports related professionals;(3)improving infrastructure and strengthening environmental control;(4)intensify media publicity.
