As a new education model which appears thanks to promotion of modern educational technology,“Flipped Classroom” indicates the new development trend of education in future.“Flipped Classroom” has three characteristics: first,new media technology has become an important part of modern education;second,students learn knowledge outside class and internalize knowledge guided by teachers in class;third,it adopts an individualized teaching method which is centered on students.Oral class of Chinese teaching in foreign countries is an important link of cultivating students' oral communication skills and transforming language knowledge to skills,due to which this article attempts to apply the education model“Flipped Classroom” to oral class of elementary Chinese teaching in Thailand,aiming to solve the problems that appear in oral class of elementary Chinese teaching and provide new teaching idea driven by modern media technology for Chinese teaching.Through document research of “Flipped Classroom” and analysis of research results achieved from this education model,this article summarizes its characteristics and conducts feasibility analysis in advance in order to better apply “Flipped Classroom” to elementary Chinese teaching in Thailand.Then,it analyzes the situation of Chinese teaching in A-nuban Kamonwan School in Thailand to explore the overall education situation and attempts to work out teaching design of the oral class in the model of“Flipped Classroom” targeted at teachers' teaching problems and students' learning difficulties.Finally,it reflects on the advantages and disadvantages that “Flipped Classroom” teaching design brings to elementary Chinese teaching in Thailand through teaching practice,based on which to propose feasible suggestions.This paper expounds the application of the teaching model of “Flipped Classroom” detailedly in the primary oral Chinese instructing in Thai.The model of “Flipped Classroom” is suitable for the primary oral Chinese instructing in Thai which obtained a well feedback from teaching practice.
