Research On Social Work Practice Of Orphans And Disabled Children

Orphans and disabled children,as a special group of vulnerable groups in children,have received wide attention from all social circles in their life,growth and development.At present,in order to create a more optimal growth environment for orphans and disabled children,child welfare institutions provide three kinds of parenting patterns,that is,the model of house raising,family foster and parenting,and the model of family parenting,and there are significant differences in the growing environment of orphans and disabled children in different parenting models.However,no matter what parenting model the orphans and disabled children are in,their social support for growth is still insufficient,compared with ordinary children.In most cases,the orphans and disabled children are facing difficulties in the crisis of growth.With the gradual development of social work,the application of social work to orphans and disabled children has gained more and more recognition.This paper takes the orphans and disabled children in three parenting models that the social work service participates in as the research object,uses the observation method and the depth interview method to collect the data of the orphans and disabled children and their main caregivers in different parenting models,and summarize and collate the status of the orphans and disabled children,the service demand and the service effect aiming at orphans and disabled children in each parenting model.By analyzing the growth environment,attachment state and social support network of orphans and disabled children in each type of parenting model,this paper makes a summary and reflection on the practice process that the social work services orphan and disabled children,then discusses the differences that the social work provide services for the orphans and disabled children in three parenting models,thinks the realistic dilemma of social work for orphans and disabled children in the field of practice,and dig out the space of social work in the field of serving orphans and disabled children,provide reference for social work to better serve orphan and disabled children.
