Research Report On Vocational And Technical Education In Taiwan

It is universally acknowledged that vocational education can promote Taiwan's economy.It is considered to be one of the main factors of economic growth in Taiwan.After years of development,Taiwan's vocational education has a relatively unique and comparably perfect educational system.Through the investigation of the vocational education in Taiwan,we can find some unique characteristics of vocational education in Taiwan and the reference to the vocational education in mainland.It also can strengthen the communication and exchange of vocational education on both sides of the Taiwan Straits,and promote the development of Vocational Education in the mainland.In this study,the development and present situation of Vocational Education in Taiwan is studied.With the support of the data,the study compares with the mainland vocational education,and puts forward some suggestions which conform to the national conditions of our country.I hope that it can help the development of Vocational Education in our country.This article is composed of four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the reasons for the topic,the research purpose and method.The second part is the research of historical development and take the economic development of Taiwan as the background to analyze the formation and evolution of the vocational education in Taiwan.The third part is the research on the curren situation and system of Taiwan vocational education,mainly by introducing the administrative organization,the school system,the way of enrolment and the content of school study to analyze the characteristics of the vocational education system in Taiwan,and to cooperate with the data analysis to achieve a deeper understanding of the vocational education in Taiwan.The fourth part is the analysis of the cross-strait vocational education problems,respectively from the two aspects of Taiwan and the mainland to separate their advantages and disadvantages,learning each other's strong point,sort out suggestions for the future development of Vocational Education in China.
