The general high school geography curriculum standard(2017 edition)will be implemented in the fall of 2018.Course Standards on geography put forward new requirements of geography cultivation from the aspects of awareness and ability of middle school student.The new requirement is that students can form a comprehensive consciousness to understanding geographical objects and phenomena,and have strong analysis skills of comprehending the interaction between the elements of Geography,and have an ability to explain the process of occurrence and development of geographical things and phenomena,thereby,students can observe,analyze and understand the geographical environment characteristics of different places in the round and form a dialectical view of geography.In the context of the new curriculum reform,how to cultivate students' ability of comprehensive analysis of geography,is an important research content of the geography teaching of senior high school.Scaffolding instruction is a teaching mode under the guidance of constructivism learning theory,that teachers create situations and scaffolds for students in the course of teaching,and students follow the guidance of the framework to internalize and absorb knowledge and skills in the context of the situation,and finally make the students' ability to develop in different degrees.This teaching model,which takes the students as the main body,the process of knowledge acquisition and the acquisition of the results,has a good fit and inspiration for the cultivition of comprehensive analysis ability of middle school students,which is worth exploring and researching.On the basis of research at home and abroad,this paper adopts the literature research method to determine the basic concept of comprehensive analysis ability of geography,and divides it into four training topics: reading ability,geographical information extraction,geographical information analysis and inductive ability.Then,based on constructivism,cognitive development and the theory of Proximal Development Zone,this paper expounds the application of scaffolding instruction mode in the training of geographical comprehensive analysisability.The main results as follows:Firstly,scaffolding instruction has a significant effect on the cultivation of comprehensive analysis ability of middle school students.Different types of scaffolds have different degrees of promoting effect on the training theme of comprehensive analysis ability of geography.Chart scaffold helps the development of map reading ability,as well as,examples scaffold is helpful to development of information-extracted ability,and problems scaffold contribute to the development of geographic information analysis ability.The Cooperative exploration which is inherent in Scaffolding Teaching Mode,contributes to the develoment of geographic information collection,extraction and analysis ability.The development of the above abilities does not affect the development of comprehensive geographic analysis ability.Secondly,the scaffolding teaching model has significant effect to enhance the teaching quality and improve student achievement.Compared with the control class,the experimental class has greater learning atmosphere,higher learning efficiency,stronger cooperative inquiry ability and the results of geographical study test,the number of low scores' s people is less,and the number of high scores is more.Thirdly,the application of the scaffolding teaching mode has realized the modern education concept which student as main position and teachers as secondary position.The classroom that using the Scaffolding Teaching mode is autonomously and cooperatively,of which students really become the main body,and their learning habits are better cultivated.
