Since the 1990s,under the background of the rapid development of science and tech nology,various countries or regions are implementing the reform of higher education,Talent cultivation is the core content of higher education reform.It has great significance for our country to build innovative country and cultivate innovative talents.As the main form of higher education,undergraduate education is the main form of higher education and The backbone of Cultivating Innovative Talents.The cultivation of innovative talents needs undergraduate education as a support.According to the 2016 World University rankin gsissued by Quacquacrelli Symonds,[1] a British educational market consultancy,the World University of Singapore has become the 12th-largest university in the world and the first in Asia.The rapid rise of higher education in Singapore is directly related to the quality of high-quality international talents,and First class talents need first-class teaching ideas and models.Therefore,studying the characteristics of undergraduate teaching in Singapor euniversities has great significance for our training of innovative talents.However,the overall research content of Singapore's undergraduate teaching characteristics is not easy to go deep into.Therefore,National University of Singapore and Peking University are selected as case studies,The similarities and differences between undergraduate teachingide as and teaching practice in two world class universities are compared,Improve the under graduate training system of first-class universities in China.the current domestic research on the undergraduate teaching characteristics of the world-class universities focused on the United States,Britain,Switzerland and other developed countries of the first-class universities,the number of research on the National University of Singapore is few and no system.The experience of undergraduate teaching charact eristics in developed countries in Europe and the United States is indeed worth our in-depth study.However,most of the countries in Europe and the United States have experienced along process of development of higher education,and the course of development of higher education in our country is relatively short and the foundation is relatively weak.Therefore,the experience of the world class universities in the United States and the United States is not very suitable for the higher education system of our country.Singapor esince its establishment of less than 40 years,but in a short period of time successfully turned the New National University into a world-class university,to cultivate a large number of the most competitive international talents.and in the geographical,cultural,ideological differences are small in China has a good reference significance.By comparing and analyzing the similarities and differences between the New National Congress and Peking University,this paper analyzes the gap between the first-class universities in our country and the undergraduate teaching characteristics in the world,clarifies the lack of ability to cultivate innovative talents with international vision in ourself.and draws lessons from the experience of the New National Congress in talent traning.Adjustitself,grasp the opportunity of higher education reform,and strive to achieve the goal of the 12th Five-Year plan,we need to highlight the important mission of training innovative talents.This paper makes a comparative analysis of the undergraduate teaching characteristics of National University of Singapore and Peking University by means of literature and comparative analysis.The differences of the undergraduate teaching characteristics of the two universities are analyzed from the following aspects:the idea of running a school,the curriculum,the teaching system,the source of internationalization of teachers and students,the goal of talent training and the mode of talent training.From an objective point of view,the advantages and disadvantages of the undergraduate teaching characteristics of the two world-class universities are analyzed in detail.This paper explores and analyzes the significance and connotation of the characteristics of running a school of the New National Congress,compares them with the undergraduate teaching characteristics of Peking University at present,and thinks about the commonness and individuality of the two.Take the commonness as the foothold of the construction of the world-class universities in China,accelerate the establishment of a number of world-class universities,seriously think about individuality,and analyze the root causes of differences.Finally,the author concludes the experience of undergraduate teaching characteristics that are more suitable for China's higher education system.Through analyzing and exploring the effective measures of undergraduate teaching characteristics in the century in our country.We should explore an undergraduate teaching mode which is more suitable for our higher education system,and provide a way for our universities to cultivate innovative talents with international competitiveness.
