The Effect Of Innovation On Employment Growth In SMEs

Employment is vital to people's livelihood.SMEs play an important role in expanding employment,and technological innovation has an important impact on employment growth.Under the current background of China's innovation driven development strategy,it has great significance to study the effect of innovation on employment growth in SMEs.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part.The chapter mainly describes the background and significance of topic selection?related concepts?research topics at home and abroad,and introduces the research framework and content,research methods,innovations and shortcomings of the article.The second chapter analyzes the status quo of SMEs' technological innovation and employment.Based on the panel data of443 listed companies from 2011 to 2015,this chapter compares the status quo of SMEs' technological innovation activities and employment conditions from the overall situation,regional differences,and ownership differences.The third chapter analyzes the mechanism of technological innovation affecting employment.From two aspects: direct effect and indirect effect,this chapter analyzes the mechanism of technological innovation affecting employment.The fourth chapter is an empirical analysis that the impact of technological innovation in SMEs on employment.Based on sample data,both the direct and indirect effects of SMEs' technological innovation on employment growth are estimated,and the differences between enterprises with different types of ownership and between different regions are analyzed.The fifth chapter is conclusions and suggestions.The main conclusions are: during the sample period,technological innovation in SMEs has a positive effect on promoting employment growth,there are differences between companies of different ownership systems and companies in different regions.To this end,in view of the goal of employment growth,different SMEs should fully consider their own basic conditions to encourage technological innovation in SMEs,and take measures to promote the development of SMEs.
