Objectives of the study: Recently,the Communist Party,the government and the public all are paying attention to teachers and actively promote respects for them,so teachers' social status have been obviously improved.However,for a long time,we pay more attention to the level of teachers' ideology and morality and professional quality rather than the health of teachers.Teachers with higher physical and mental health are the necessary conditions for the implementation of scientific education.Therefore,using "Health Quotient" test as a health evaluation index by doing a comprehensive study of cognitive status of college teachers in Ganzhou will arouse college teachers' attention to their health and improve the health level of college teachers in Ganzhou.It will also provide a reference for the government 's formulation and improvement of health education policies.Methods of the study:This study used professor Xie Huazhen's health consultation table to design the questionnaire of Ganzhou university teachers' health quotient.300 questionnaires were distributed and 282 were back to the author.And the recovery rate is 94%,of which 263 are valid questionnaires.Efficiency rate is 93%.The results of the study : in general,the health quotient of university teachers in Ganzhou is in the "ideal" level(M=6.60).The dimension of life style and life skills is 81%,which is in the "ideal" level or above.Self care dimension accounted for 69% in the "ideal" level or above.The dimension of mental state is 71% in the "ideal" level or above.Health knowledge score was the lowest(M=5.99 points),which is 55% in the alert level.There are no significant differences in the dimensions of health quotient among different gender university teachers,and the level of male health quotient is slightly higher than that of women.There was no obvious difference in the health quotient of university teachers with different marital status.Different degrees of university teachers in health quotient dimensions and health quotient parts have some differences.There are differences in different dimensions and parts in different professional teachers.Teachers of different positions have different scores in each dimension.Conclusions of the study :(1).The health quotient index of university teachers in Ganzhou is at an ideal level,but the score is not high;(2).There were obvious differences among the dimensions of self care knowledge,health knowledge,lifestyle,mental status by comparing different majors of college teachers in Ganzhou.Among them,in the dimension of self care,college teachers majoring in medicine is higher than them majoring in history;in the dimension of health knowledge and lifestyle,college teachers majoring in medicine is the highest.Teachers majoring in literature and history are the lowest;In the dimension of mental status college teachers majoring in science and are higher than college teachers majoring in literature andhistory;(3).Among college teachers in Ganzhou in different positions,in the dimensions of the health quotient,the teachers who do only teaching or scientific research is higher than the teachers in administrative position.(4)The overall score of health knowledge is low among college teachers in Ganzhou,and more than half of them are on the alert level.
