The difference between urban and rural education is a long-existing practical problem in China.With the rapid development of our economy,people have increased the demand for individuation and comprehensiveness of education.The concept of quality education emerges as the times require.Music education,as a quality education with the core of improving aesthetic level and cultivating sentiment,has the characteristics of long development time and strong mass foundation in the component of quality education.The equality of urban and rural music education is an important aspect to reflect the equity of quality education in our country.But one phenomenon can not be ignored is that the difference between urban and rural education is especially obvious in music education.As a secondary subject,music is in a relatively marginal position in rural schools,where the overall teaching level is relatively backward.On the other hand,it is the limitation of teaching resources.Rural students enjoy significantly less music education resources than urban students.In the field of music,resources,such as teaching facilities and teaching staff,play an important role in the teaching effect.Under the influence of these two aspects,The degree of inequity in music education between urban and rural areas will only be greater and greater.Education equity is the basic national policy of our country,and the starting point equity and process equity are the embodiment of the principle of education equity.The starting point of education is usually the allocation of teaching resources.Fair points mean that students in urban and rural areas should enjoy equal teaching resources,but the reality is that the gap between the allocation of teaching resources in rural schools and that of urban schools is obvious.The author thinks that education starts from doll,primary school is the starting period of nine-year compulsory education in China,and the present situation of music education in urban and rural primary schools is studied.In the initial stage of education,the causes and problems reflected in the differences between urban and rural music education can be understood,and suggestions are put forward to improve the present situation and provide a reference basis for future development.This paper is divided into five parts,the first part is the introduction,mainly introduces the writing background,significance and related literature review of the thesis,and makes clear the writing methods and ideas.The second part is the investigation of the present situation of the music classroom in urban and rural areas.This paper makes a comparative investigation on Yichun Experimental Primary School and Lucun Shuangjiang Primary School,and analyzes the results of the investigation.The third part is about the problems existing in the music classroom in urban and rural areas.The fourth part is the reasons for the differences between urban and rural music classes,from the teachers,policies,environment and other aspects of the analysis of the differences.The fifth part is the countermeasures and suggestions to reduce the differences between urban and rural music classroom.Finally,the conclusion of this paper is drawn.This paper uses the methods of literature,interview and case study,etc.By analyzing the differences between the two representative primary schools in Yichun City and Lucun Township in the development of music education,the hidden problems are found out,including the weakness of the teachers of music education in rural primary schools.The lack of teaching equipment and the weak consciousness that music is conducive to the overall development of pupils' comprehensive quality,etc.,so as to put forward concrete suggestions for the rational allocation of music education resources in urban and rural primary schools,and emphasize the equality of the starting point of education.All schools have equal and sufficient teaching resources,which can be carried out according to their aptitude,and the equality of educational process can be realized,so as to achieve the fairness of the educational result.
