With the continuous development of economy and the in-depth development of reform and opening up,China society has entered a new stage.But some brand new social contradictions occurred.Although the economy is developing,but the wealth gap between rich and poor is growing.Education,as a tool to eliminate the external effects,change one's fate,and improve human quality,was supposed to be an important means to narrow the wealth gap.But the education gap between urban and rural areas is growing.Although government has provided policy and financial support to narrow the education gap,the gap between urban and rural education still exist,and rural education is still backward the urban education in a larger extent.Optimize the development of education is an important guarantee for the development of economic,political,cultural in China.To build a new socialist countryside,we must develop rural education.The study included three main elements.Firstly,this paper analyzed the situation of Chongqing compulsory education stage of urban and rural schools the allocation of educational resources.Secondly,taking Tongliang the First Experimental Primary School and the Sanqu Primary School for example,this paper explores the differences of urban and rural schools in the allocation of educational resources and teaching management.This paper also analyzes the differences of two schools in teaching methods.At the end of the article,this paper analyzes the cause of the differences in urban and rural education,and give some suggestion.The survey found that the difference of domestic capital between urban and rural areas has a great influence on the educational achievement of students.And the teaching methods of urban schools is far better than rural schools.In the stage of compulsory education in rural schools allocation of educational resources in quantity are not behind urban schools.In some respects,rural schools superior to the level of resource allocation for urban schools.However,in resource quality and resource utilization,urban schools are better than rural schools.
