In recent years,with the rapid development of computer technology,the modern information technology has gradually become an important teaching method for various disciplines.The ordinary senior high school chemistry curriculum standards(Edition 2017)clearly point out that the role of modern information technology gives full play to the work,the deep integration between the modern information technology and chemistry experiments needs to be actively explored,and the computer simulation experiments must be rationally used.High school chemistry experiment plays an important role in chemistry teaching.Chemistry experiment can not only cultivate students' hands-brain collaboration ability,but also deepen students' understanding of theory and mastering knowledge.In actual teaching,because the experimental conditions limiting or the reasons of laboratory safety,some lots of the exploratory experiments aren't able to carry out for many school.It is an important means that the simulation experiment is applied to the high school chemistry teaching in the future,which makes up for the shortcomings of traditional experimental teaching.In the study,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the current state of chemistry experiment teaching in high schools and the feasibility of simulation experiments.Secondly,the simulation experiments suitable for the application of virtual reality technology were classified in the required courses,selective required courses and elective courses in the 2017 edition of the general high school chemistry curriculum standards.Finally,based on the design philosophy of the efficient,fast and safe Unity3D courseware and through the establishment of an experimental material library,C#language was used to write the code for each part.The four sets of high school chemical simulation experiment courseware of "Simulation Experiment on the Laboratory Preparation Method of Chlorine",“Simulation Experiment on the Reaction of Copper and Concentrated Sulfuric Acid","Simulation Experiment on the Conversion of Ferrous Iron and Ferric Iron" and "Simulation Experiment on Flame Reaction" were developed.The results of the survey showed that the chemical simulation experiment software was more expected by the teachers and students in high schools.A convenient and efficient inquiry courseware for chemical experiments was urgently needed to replace the traditional PPT video presentation;a total of 215 chemical experiments were involved in the 2017 edition of general high school chemistry curriculum standards,among which 66 experiments of 8 types including the experiments with more dangerous demonstration and higher toxicity,microscopic experiments,experiments with too fast or slow reaction rates,erroneously operated experiments,chemical reaction principle experiments,difficult and highly demanding experiments,chemical history experiments,and chemical process flows were suitable for demonstration by using the virtual reality technology.The four sets of high school chemical simulation experiment courseware were developed with the advantages of strong operability,wide experiment path,convenient,flexible and safe use,and clear demonstration effect based on Unity3D technology,which could be applied to not only the teachers' classroom simulation demonstrative experiments,but also the students' repeated experiment exercises after class.The four sets of courseware developed were of a certain positive significance for cultivating and improving the chemistry experiment skills of high school students.
