Research On Mental Health Of Pastoral Primary School Boarders

The essay is to understand psychological health and current situation of bordering and non-boarding Mongolian pupils after Xilin Gol League carried out centralized school sponsoring model,analyze influence of boarding and living with grandparents on psychological health of pupils and compare differences of boarding and non-boarding Mongolian pupils in mental health so as to carry out psychological health education scientifically and effectively.By use of documentary method,questionnaire method n interviewing method,the essay had a survey on psychological health of 778 Mongolian pupils from grade 3 to grade 6 in three primary schools in Xinlin Gol League,and the conclusions are as follows:(1)Testees whose scores are lower than over one standard deviation(lower than 389.185)are 135.(2)Psychological health status is different among different grades,and average score of students from grade 4 and grade 5 is higher than that from grade 3 and grade 6.(3)In the aspect of psychological health:boarding pupils<non-boarding(the old)pupils<(parents)pupils.Level of psychological health of boarding students is significantly lower than that of non-boarding(parents)pupils.(4)Further analysis indicated:For boarding and non-boarding pupils(parents):boarding boy students are inferior to non-boarding(parents)boy students in study,interpersonal communication,adaptive subscales and psychological health;boarding girl students are inferior to non-boarding(parents)girl students in study,adaptive subscales and psychological health;boarding only-child pupils are inferior to non-boarding(parents)only-child pupils in psychological health;boarding non-child pupils are inferior than non-boarding(parents)non-child pupils in study,adaptive subscales and total points;boarding core pupils are inferior to non-boarding(parents)core pupils in study,interpersonal communication,adaptive subscales and psychological health;boarding pupils from grade 3 are inferior to non-boarding(parents)pupils from grade 3 in interpersonal subscales;boarding pupils from grade 4 are inferior to non-boarding(parents)pupils from grade 4 in study,self subscales and total points;and boarding pupils from grade 6 are inferior to non-boarding(parents)pupils from grade 6 in adaptive subscales.For boarding pupils and non-boarding pupils(the old):boarding girl students are inferior to non-boarding(the old)girl students in study and self subscales;boarding non-child pupils are inferior to non-boarding(the old)non-child pupils in study subscales;boarding core pupils are inferior to non-boarding(the old)core pupils in study and self subscales;boarding pupils from grade 4 are inferior to non-boarding(the old)students from grade 4 in study,self subscales and total points;and non-boarding(the old)students from grade 5 are inferior to boarding students from grade 5 in adaptive subscales.For non-boarding(parents)and non-boarding(the old):non-boarding(the old)boy students are inferior to non-boarding(parents)boy students in adaptive subscales;non-boarding(the old)non-child pupils are inferior to non-boarding(parents)non-child pupils in adaptive subscales;non-boarding(the old)core pupils are inferior to non-boarding(parents)core pupils in adaptive subscales;and non-boarding(the old)students from grade 5 are inferior to non-boarding(parents)students from grade 5 in adaptive subscales.(5)In the proportional analysis of groups with low scores,among the group whose scores are lower than one standard deviation,proportions of boy students,non-only children,special family and boarding are bigger.(6)Through interviews,it was discovered that main influencing factors of psychological health include:family environment,family relationship,parenting style,interpersonal relationship and so on.
