Reform And Development Of Academic Division In China

Fakultat or Academic Division has been practiced for a long time in the reformation of Chinese High Education System.This process prompted the interdisciplinary development of large number of huge Research Universities.It also provided extremely valuable experience and demonstrated an important role of academic division which presents as the platform for a certain disciplinary sort management.From the the establishing of new Peking University in April of2000 to the May of 2000 that Beijing Medical University changed her name as Peking University Medical Department,during the rapid development of nearly 18 years,the research and development of Academic Division Practicing in our country's High Education System Reformation has gained a breakthrough achievement.From preparation for the reformation of Academic Division of BNU in 2006 to the publishing of some documents about ZJU's Academic Division reformation in 2007,it showed a firm determination about our country's reformation for high education administration system.According to roughly statistics,during the 18 years,there are more than 40 universities published their own practicing and researching of Academic Division,more than 30 universities implemented the completed Academic Division reformation,and all of them achieved evident reforming achievement.However,with the publishing of General Plans of Construction for World-Class Universities and Top-class Disciplines,the Double Firs-class background has endowed new age-missions and tasks for the high education Academic Division reformation process.By contrasting the domestic and abroad Academic Division reformation and development,while on the base of analyzing the history of China's Academic Division,the thesis looks forward to its future development trend with the Double First-class construction background.The 1^ST Chapter,Introduction,will explain the researching origins for determining its aims and contents,here it makes explanations of some concepts and compares current status at home and abroad;The 2^nd Chapter,Past and Present of Academic Division,analyzes its history,functions&locations in its practicing process,while it also summarizes its experience at home and abroad;The 3^rd Chapter,Current Status and Views of China's Academic Division,analyzes the current status of China's Academic Division reformation and development as well as discussing some problems appeared in the practicing process that the 4^th chapter lays;The 4^th Chapter,Foreground and Views for Academic and Division in Chinese's High Education,will combine the Double First-class background to rebuilding the Academic Division system relying on its functions,to improving the university's competitiveness relying on its discipline sort management platform,to reconstructing university's inner management structure relying on its management system,finally this thesis will discuss the outlook of China's university Academic Division.
