The P.E teaching model plays an important role in the system of P.E. teaching. It is the bridge set between the basic theory of P.E. and the practice of P.E. teaching. By studying the findings of modern teaching reforms, investigating the tendency of the teaching models'development and reading many documents and data, I find that"Double Division"is a kind of teaching model in which teaching activities are students-centered, and students with different quality cooperate to study according to different objectives and requirements. Such model realizes the educational thought of valuing individual diversities and teaching students according to their aptitude. It simulates students to participate and cooperate actively, to help each other and make progress together. It uses"gradation teaching"and"group-cooperating learning"as reference and develops them. It is an ideal teaching model which fully embodies teacher-guiding and student-centered principles and the principles of teaching students according their aptitude, with the instruction of the thought of quality education.Starting from the characteristics of tennis and taking a comprehensive consideration of the content of tennis teaching and the flexible use of the teaching plan, this research explore the effective ways of tennis teaching in colleges by P.E. culture transmission and aesthetic infection, for the purpose of improving the effects of tennis teaching and contributing to the development of tennis in colleges.This paper uses the ways of literature review, investigating, making experiments and mathematical statistics, etc. By making a teaching experiment within a semester and revising and proving, and by comparing the findings of the teaching experiment with the effects of the traditional teaching methods, I draw the following conclusions.1. It is feasible and effective to use the teaching model of"Double Division"in tennis teaching of colleges. It combines teacher-guiding model with student-centered model well and obtains a better effects than traditional model.2."Double Division"is the teaching model which confronts all the students. In this model, students are taught according to their aptitude and they can develop themselves wholly.3."Double Division"is in favor of developing students'subjective initiative. It reflects the nature of the relationship of"teacher-guiding and students centered"teaching and improves the teaching effects and quality.4. It is able to improve students'ability of communication, cooperation and their competitive consciousness to apply the teaching model of"Double Division".5."Double Division"improves the demand for teachers and arouses teachers'enthusiasm and creativity, which plays a positive role in the effect on teaching.
