The Japanese PTA is a social education group composed of parents and faculty in all schools.It is neither an official nor a school,and is a non-profit non-governmental organization.Japanese PTA for the purpose of carrying out voluntary activities for the healthy development of children and students.In the process of running,Japanese PTA has always adhered to the core philosophy of "everything for the sake of children," established a service concept of "seeking happiness for children," carried out diversified activities and led the new direction of cooperation between home and school.Japanese PTA is a reflection of the imperialist education before World War II and the product of Japan's postwar import into the United States.It can be said that the establishment of Japanese PTA and the establishment of Japan's democratic education system are basically synchronized.Since its germination has been nearly 70 years,its development process is broadly divided into four stages,namely the Import period,the construction period,the development period and maturity period.Japanese PTA system can be divided into three levels,one is Corporation Japanese PTA National Assembly;the second is the local PTA organizations,including the metropolitan PTA and various types of PTA Federation;third is the school PTA.There is a division of labor between the three levels of Japanese parent-teacher association,but they share a common mission and goal.The relatively mature three-level organizational system and the standardized scientific work system provide a guarantee for the Japanese PTA to systematically organize and participate in the project activities.Japanese PTA has actively participated in school work and social work among communication methods,activities participation and resource development,and has an active role in communication with schools and families.For more than half a century after the war,the Japanese PTA played an important role in promoting Japan's educational development and played the role of bridge and link in the collaborative relations between schools,families and the community.The PTA is positioned to "seek happiness for children," and the Japanese PTA provides a new link between parents and schools.Parents and teachers work together to find ways for families,schools and communities to serve the healthy growth of the adolescents.However,Japanese PTA also experienced some functional deviations during its development.In the functional orientation,there is a phenomenon of confusion with the school.The efficiency of some activities is biased,which imposes a burden on parents.In the controversy over whether or not to harm the interests ofchildren when the Japanese Parent Teacher Association exercises its powers in the name of "for the sake of children",therefore,in the process of reform and development,the Parents Committee of our country needs to make a reasonable positioning of the operation mechanism of the Parents Committee.This requires that the education sector establish a symbiotic concept of home-school cooperation and build a diversified form of home-school cooperation in the process of reform.At the same time,it should constantly improve the supervision mechanism of home-school cooperation and seek legal protection for home-school cooperation.Moreover,the emphasis on parents Resources,pays attention to the emotional exchange between parents and children for two generations,and finally establishes a scientific and effective cooperation system to enhance the family and society's position in the development of children and school education.
