The picture book has a variety of values and functions in kindergarten education and teaching activities.The development of picture books teaching in kindergartens can effectively promote the development of children's language skills,help young children to acquire positive emotional and emotional experiences,and promote their social development.Excellent picture book teaching activities can also enhance children's imagination,thinking skills and aesthetic ability.This research is based on the value theory of picture book and picture book teaching.It mainly focuses on picture book teaching.It uses comparative education research methods to discuss the teaching of picture books in kindergartens in Taiwan and mainland China.It focuses on the analysis of the present situation of the selection of picture books,the formulation of teaching objectives,the development of teaching processes,and the use of teaching strategies in the picture book teaching,finally summarizes the differences existing in the two regions,and proposes problems in the development of picture books teaching activities in mainland kindergartens in China.The paper mainly contains the following four parts.The first part discusses the connotation and extension of the picture book,and explores and contrasts the basic concepts and characteristics of the comic book,comics,and illustration.It defines the content of the picture book and deepens the understanding of the picture book.In order to understand the status quo of the teaching activities of kindergartens in Taiwan and mainland China,the researchers selected three picture book teaching activities from Taiwan A Park and Chongqing B Park as representatives,and presented them in classroom recordings.In carrying out picture book teaching activities,the two sides of the strait region made objective description and analysis according to the three aspects of the preschool teacher's picture book teaching activity preparation,picture book teaching activity implementation process and picture book teaching extension activity,and finally made a reflection and summary of the current situation.The third part is to use SWOT analysis to map the four aspects of picture book teaching activities in Taiwan and mainland China,namely,the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities,and threats of the four dimensions of picture selection,teaching objectives,teaching process,and teaching strategy.A comprehensive,accurate and systematic analysis of the current picture book teaching situation is conducted,and corresponding conclusions or countermeasures are drawn from it,trying to achieve a more intuitive understanding and comparison of the picture book teaching in both sides of the Taiwan Strait,and further improve the teaching quality of the Chinese picture book teaching.The fourth part is to trace the background cultural differences between the development of picture books across the Taiwan Strait.Based on the analysis and comparison results of the second and third chapters,we conclude that kindergarten teachers in the mainland China are not fully aware of the picture book teaching.To highlight the main body status of young children,the low level of support and attention given to picture books by kindergartens,the lack of training of kindergarten teachers' professional skills and qualities.Based on the development of picture-book teaching in kindergartens in Taiwan,the researchers proposed feasible suggestions from teachers,kindergartens,society.
