A Study On The Social Adaptation Of Urban Retired Old People With Group Work

The problem of population aging is becoming more and more serious,and the number of urban retired people is also increasing rapidly.How to realize the "active aging" is related to the well-being of the elderly and the good development of the society.However,due to the role change brought by retirement,retired elderly people have various adaptability problems.These social adaptation problems have become the important fetters to realize "active aging".How to seize the opportunity to solve the problem of social adaptation of retired people is a difficult problem to be solved in the study of aging and social development.During the internship in Shijiazhuang D Social work Service Center,through field observation and interviews,it was found that the urban retired elderly in the S community appeared psychological sub-health and weakened interpersonal communication because they could not adapt to the post-retirement role change.Social participation reduces three kinds of social adaptation problems.Through interviews,we learned that the elderly have psychological needs,family relationships and other interpersonal needs and social life development needs after retirement,they need professional social workers and social work methods.Help them cope with post-retirement adaptation.Based on this,based on social evacuation theory,socialization theory,role theory and activity theory,the feasibility of group work intervention method is analyzed.Group activities should be an effective way to help retired elderly in community S to solve the problem of social adaptation caused by retirement and enjoy retirement life happily.
