Research On Indigenization Of Social Work From The Perspective Of Social Trust

Because of the huge differences in the structure and culture of different countries.Social work,which originated in western society and permeates Western values,is bound to undergo the process of indigenization in other countries.In the 30 years since the introduction of social work into our country,we have achieved initial success and have experienced serious practical discomfort.Currently it is facing a series of development difficulties.In order to solve the discomfort of social work in our country,in recent years,there has been a growing number of researches on the indigenization of social work in the academic community,there are also many disputes over the indigenization of social work.Most scholars in China tend to think that the indigenization of social work is to transform western social work to adapt to China's indigenous culture.However,the effectiveness of applying these practices to practice is not significant.Through the comparison of Chinese and Western trust structure a nd local typical interviews,this paper discusses the indigenization of social work in our country on the basis of the existing research.First,it reviews the process of indigenization of social work in China and examines the tendency of indigenization of social work in China.Secondly,it traces the roots,finds the value base of social work,and compares the cultural foundations of the development of social work in both China and the West,and explores the essential cultural soil for the development of social work.Then,we need to clarify the current state of local practices in social work in our country and learn about the performance of social work that lacks trust in practice.Next,explore the reasons for the low social trust in our country,and then put forward the development path and feasibility suggestions for the localization of social work in our country.The research shows that social work covers theory,skills,values,and it is essentially altruistic social interaction.The basis of interaction is social trust,that is,trust is the premise of social work service,trust culture is the necessary soil for social work development.In the process of indigenization of social work in China,social workers attach importance to the transformation of theory and skills,and neglect the cultivation of trust culture.The social relations of our country with high trust have not yet been formed,which leads to practical difficulties.Therefore,at present,the value orientation of localization of social work in our country is to rebuild trust.Through the process of enhancing the credibility of the government,introducing value,consolidating the action and internalizing culture,and complementing the construction of the system as an external guarantee,a high level of social trust can be established.
