In the background of the globalization,international competition becomes increasingly fierce,the social status of science and technology is increasing day by day.In order to guarantee the superiority of our country in the world competition,it is urgent to raise the level of scientific literacy of all our people.Nowadays,the knowledge economy is growing rapidly and science education has become the main channel to improve scientific literacy.Primary education is the educational stage that lays the foundation for the development of education as a whole,its development will therefore have a direct impact on the subsequent stages of education.Primary school is also the initial stage of cultivating students 'scientific accomplishment.Primary school's science teachers,whose professional accomplishment is a very important factor that directly influences the development of science education.The reform of basic education curriculum in our country,which is constantly updated,is devoted to the construction of an educational system which is adapted to the concept of quality education.Primary science education plays a crucial role,and therefore the standards of science curricula are being continuously and deeply reformed,which means that there will be higher demands on future primary school teachers,especially primary school science teachers.Therefore,in order to promote the development of science education in primary school,promote the quality education in all respects and carry out the reform of the new curriculum in depth,it is necessary to build a team of science teachers with a high level of professional accomplishment that is commensurate with the teaching requirements of the new curriculum.Based on the previous research and the particularity of science education,this paper,taking the present situation of professional accomplishment of elementary school science teachers in shaping BA district of Chongqing as an example,makes an investigation and analysis of the present situation of professional accomplishment of elementary school science teachers in order to put forward constructive suggestions for improvement.This study not only helps to enrich the theories related to the professional accomplishment of elementary school science teachers,but also helps to put forward constructive suggestions to improve the professional accomplishment of elementary school science teachers and further improve the quality of elementary school science teaching.The first part is the prolegomenon,which includes the background and significance of the topic,the current research situation at home and abroad,the research method,the research innovation,the anticipated goal and the proposed solution.Then,on the basis of consulting a lot of literature,this study defines and orgnizes the concepts of science curriculum,teachers 'professional accomplishment,elementary school science teachers' professional accomplishment and professional cordiality professional knowledge,professional ability.Next,this study went deep into the primary schools in Shapingba district,Chongqing,on the basis of the analysis of survey data,to accept the survey of primary science teachers professional literacy status of a general description.This study mainly analyzes the present situation of the professional accomplishment of primary school science teachers in Shaping Ba district of Chongqing from three dimensions.At last,the author analyzes the causes of the above situation and puts forward the countermeasures to improve the professional accomplishment of the science teachers.It is hoped that this research can further analyze the problems existing in primary school science teachers 'professional literacy,and explore new ways to improve the professional literacy of primary school science teachers.
