Quality education,The new round of basic education curriculum reform and New college entrance examination reform has put forward the new challenge to the basic teaching,which are in many aspects,from the perspective of curriculum,it is hard for traditional curriculum system to adapt to the basic teaching.Therefore,the construction of special courses has been tried in general high schools all over the China.Taking the reform of the new college entrance examination system as the background,The writer referred to a large number of existing research documents on the construction of characteristic courses,and combined with the real situation,the writer illustrated its view from seven points that are the general cognition about characteristic course of the teachers and students,the establishment of characteristic course goals,the optimization of characteristic curriculum structure,the content design of characteristic course,the teaching implementation and evaluation of characteristics curriculum and its supporting measures.Taking six senior high schools belonging to the city and county of Yan’an as the research samples,the writer made a comprehensive investigation of the characteristic curriculum construction of general high school in Yan’an through questionnaires and interviews.And the writer also discovered the problems and influential factors.Based on the study,this article gave some suggestions.From the perspective of teachers and students’ general understanding of the characteristics of general high school,there are some problems such as teachers’ inadequate understanding of characteristic curriculum and students’ week awareness of choosing characteristic courses on their own.From the view of the goal of characteristic curriculum construction,there are two different value orientations of the curriculum development goals,one is "to enter a higher school" and the other is "to study for the future employment".From the perspective of the characteristic curriculum structure,the development of the school-based textbooks is only equal to the development of characteristic activities.and the design of the curriculum structure doesn’t agree with students interests.According to the design of characteristic curriculum content,there are some problems such as inadequate curriculum content,lacking of long-term development goals and overall planning,and inadequate systematization.From the implementation of the characteristic curriculum,it is difficult to combine theory with practice and to balance students’ personality differences.From the characteristics of the curriculum and teaching evaluation,there are some problems such as incomplete evaluation of students’ comprehensive quality and evaluation of characteristics of the course content.From the perspective of the supportive measures of characteristic curriculum,the policy of course construction is imperfect.funding is difficult to guaranteed,process management is not rigorous,the amount and quality of teachers is also not fully guaranteed and the effectiveness of characteristic curriculum resources’ development and utilization should also be improved.Based on investigation and research of the above problems and by analyzing the relative factors,the writer found that the impact factors of the construction of the characteristic curriculum in Yan’an general high school could be divided into five aspects.The first factor is about schools,including school culture,school material resources,the principals,the exam-oriented education and management;The second one is the quality of each element of the course,including course objectives,course content,course structure and course evaluation;The third factor are from teachers,covering course cognitive ability,design ability,implementation level and relevant training;The fourth one is students,including self-cognitive ability,self-learning ability and self-selection ability;The last one is the government social factors,including curriculum policy,superior education administrative department and social resources.In the end,according to the current situation and problems and combined with related theory,the writer puts forward the improvement suggestions of the construction of the characteristic curriculum in Yan’an general high school,that are to use the school hardware effectively and activate the school characteristic curriculum construction;to optimize the characteristic curriculum elements and improve the level of curriculum construction;to enhance the construction of the teachers team and to form backbone force of the characteristic curriculum;to cultivate students’ ability and improve the learning effect of special courses;to ensure the sustainable development of school characteristic curriculum with the help of government social support.
