Research On The Competency Model Of Chinese Taekwondo Umpire

The referee is the manager and the executive of Taekwondo in the course of the competition.In addition to this,the referee is also a service person.His duty is to provide a fair and fair competition environment for the athletes,and to ensure that the players are in strict accordance with the requirements and spirit of the rules,to ensure that the competition is fair,public,orderly and smooth,so that the competition is more effective.Ornamental and safety.At present,the domestic registration has about 79 international judges,294 national judges,especially Taekwondo in the international progress,the rules and development direction of the referees are becoming higher and higher,and the standard of the referee is constantly improving.As the implementation of the competition rules and standards of the implementation of the competition,it is necessary to improve the current situation of the current Taekwondo competition and the trend of international development.In this study,Chinese Taekwondo judges competency as the research object,firstly,through the literature,critical incident interviews,refine the Chinese Taekwondo referees competency elements,and these elements of the dimension of classification,the initial formation of theoretical structure of Chinese Taekwondo referees competency model,and then on the basis of the competency based development competence questionnaire to measure the stress characteristics of Taekwondo judges;then,to collect valid data through the questionnaire factor analysis and validity,construct and validate the competency model of Chinese Taekwondo referees.The result shows that the competency model of Chinese Taekwondo referees is composed of four dimensions,namely,professional quality,cultural quality,professional knowledge and moral character,and 19 competency elements.The ability of service quality mainly involves the correct understanding of the new competition rules;to make appropriate penalty according to court case;rapid identification of game participants is in violation of rules;the ability to respond to emergencies;control and regulate their emotions and attitude ability;selection ability;expression ability and attitude to the penalty decision game participants;reading ability in the game double technical and tactical characteristics.The cultural quality mainly relates to sports economics knowledge;knowledge education;English listening;computer knowledge;knowledge of social etiquette and public relations;before the game against the need to develop the ability to judge the ability to use standard Mandarin program;smooth verbal communication;the ability to resist external interference and pressure.Professional knowledge mainly involves the Taekwondo competition rules and the judgment of knowledge;the International Taekwondo Federation rules regulations;China Taekwondo Association regulations list;occupation Taekwondo club history and the present situation of the technical and tactical characteristics;psychology;sports science knowledge;knowledge training;correct use of gestures and facial expressions physical game language.Mainly involves moral self-confidence;realistic objective justice;respect for others;flexibility;obedience;unity;modest and prudent;ability to maintain fine scale consistent.
